Athletic Haven offers year-round basketball programs. These include clinics and academies, our 3v3 recreational league, a travel program, summer camps, and more. See below for details and to register for a program!

BEGINNING BASKETBALL
ALBANY, RENSSELAER & TROY
This 8-week program will get your child started with the fundamentals of basketball. Learn the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting defending and footwork sure to get your hoop career started on the correct foot (or feet)! This program is geared toward the new or beginning player.
DATES: December through February

Albany= Roots Academy, 676 Clinton Ave. (Thursdays)
Rensselaer= Rensselaer Boys & Girls Club, 544 Broadway (Saturdays)
Troy= St. Johns church, 146 1st St. Troy NY (Tuesdays)

BASKETBALL ACADEMY
TROY
This 6-week program is sure to hone your child's skills and help them reach the next level in their hoop careers! Each week, works on a different skill, and there are weekly competitions. From fundamental skills like dribbling to advanced skills like post-play, this program is geared toward experienced players.
DATES: Thursdays December through January.

3V3 RECREATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Our 3v3 recreational league is a great way to develop your young athletes game. With rules set up to promote development and lots of room to work, your child will gain self-confidence and a love for the game!
DATES: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays March through May

BEGINNING BASKETBALL

Be sure to get your child started on the right basketball foot. Learn fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting and defense, while also exposing players to footwork and the language of basketball with this introductory program. Fun competitions and challenges weekly! Ages 7-12 welcome

TRAVEL BASKETBALL TEAMS
Train and Compete at the next level with this program. Sure to push your child's game to a new height, this program is for advanced players and there are tryouts / cuts.

This 8-week program will keep your child's development going in the right direction! Players will train for 45 minutes and then pick up play for the rest. This program has both a beginner and advanced session.
